Planetary gear – compact and high power density
ELMEQ offer a compact Planetary gear range with low weight and high power density.
A planetary gearhead transforms a high-speed and low-torque input from an electric motor into increased torque and reduced speed at the output shaft of the gear head. The developed values depend on the gear head ratio.
The gear range can also be offered with helical gears, which have a larger contact ratio and generates higher transmission efficiency and lower noise.
ELMEQ offer Low-backlash planetary gear units that cover a torque range up to 2000 Nm, and they can be used in complex continuous duty (S1) applications.
This transmission technology is suitable for different applications like robots, AGV´s etc. The gear range cover both standard and customized solutions.
